Protein is important when it comes to muscle growth or Fat Loss, but carbohydrates also  important to maintain and gain muscle mass, The truth is, that complex carbohydrates are very healthy and provide your body with right kind of fuel and required to move your body.

HOW MUCH CARBS ARE NECESSARY ?

It is recommended that your daily calorie intake should be made up of 40-60% carbohydrates. Carbohydrates also important in your daily calorie intake, and has been proved an effective ratio as part of a bodybuilding diet. So, how many grams of carbohydrates ?

For Muscle building you need:-

  • 2g-2.2g/lb, means if you're 160lb then you should take 320g-352g of carbohydrates a day.
  • 4.6-5g/kg, means if you're 70kg then you should take 320g-350g of carbohydrates a day.
For Fat Loss You Need :-
  • 0.5g-0.7g/lb, means if you're 160lb then you should take 80g-112g of carbohydrates a day.
  • 1.1g-1.6g/kg, means if you're 70kg then you should take 77g-112g of carbohydrates a day.

Carbs Best Sources (Complex Carbs):-

  • Oat Meal. 
  • Brown Rice.
  • Whole Wheat Bread.
  • Whole Wheat Cereal.
  • Whole Wheat Pasta.
  • Sweet Potatoes.
  • Quinoa.
